Real Madrid to Let Ronaldo Leave

cristiano-ronaldo

This Saturday’s play may be last at Ronaldo’s home league Clasico at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. It is most likely that the Portuguese will leave Real Madrid the following summer.

But the reasons for the leaving of Ronaldo are rooted in the club’s aspiration to cash the soon-to-be-31 player by the end of this season. He still costs monster money in the market of transferring. The club desires to find a buyer who will give around £80 million. This is the price they paid for Ronaldo six years ago.

Moreover, the relationship between him and Real Madrid has cracked. The lack of understanding began at the last season’s end when the Portuguese publicly accused the club for firing Carlo Ancelotti before it was officially confirmed.

The president of the club had decided to hire Rafael Benítez. The coach and the top player are not in a good place due to footballing differences. Benítez does not plan on building the whole team around the Portuguese. Moreover, he refused to say that Cristiano is first at Real Madrid and that he is the best player he had ever coached.

Ronaldo said that they had played too deep at the game against Sevilla on the 8th of November. Also, Ronaldo told Perez that team will not win anything with this coach.

It is also noted that there were no representatives to the premiere of Ronaldo’s film in London.

The president Florentino Pérez told Ronaldo that he has doubts about his future. This also is the reason why both sides want to get a “divorce”.

Paris Saint-Germain seem to be the most favourable club landing Ronaldo. The Portuguese, the owner of PSG Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the manager of the club Laurent Blanc have recently been in a contact.

Manchester United also show interest in bringing back Ronaldo to Old Trafford. The Portuguese is a huge fan and supporter of Manchester United. However, he is more willing to seek a new adventure.

Chelsea are also fond of Ronaldo, but PSG and Man United are the leaders of the race.

If all these rumours are true, the Saturday’s showdown against Barcelona will be the final home league of Ronaldo, so without doubt he will be dedicated to perform well. The game is very important, because Barcelona is three points clear.

If Real lose to Barcelona, they will have to climb a mountain to win a league title in 2015-16. The Clasico game will determine how serious the team is about achieving success in the league. Ronaldo must ensure a victory, if he wants to enjoy a silver farewell from Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
