Deal Close – After Agreeing $20million Deal, Star Waiting for Man Utd Move

Swedish central defender Victor Lindelof has been in the headlines for quite some time as the Benfica star edges closer to joining Manchester United.
The Red Devils have already agreed a fee worth 45 million euros with the Portuguese champions to sign the 22-year-old star (via Record).
On the other hand, the former Vasteras defender has agreed personal terms that will make him earn 3.5million euros a year, 19.25million euros ($20million) in the next five and a half years (Sport Witness via O Jogo).
As per the provided SW link, after agreeing the deal with Man United, Lindelof is now in Sweden, waiting for an order to pack his things and travel to Manchester to officially sign for the Red Devils.
This means that Victor played his last game for the Primeira Liga side against Rio Ave on 21st December and will now be playing for Man Utd once his move is completed in the January transfer window.
Last season, Lindelof became a regular starter for Benfica in the second half of the campaign and played a pivotal role in helping them win the title. This season, he has featured in 22 games for the Portuguese giants.
