More than any other new signing, the Old Trafford club needs a top quality striker who can score 20+ league goals in a season. Only then United can dream about winning the title again.

If reports (L’Equipe) are anything to go by then Man United are interested in signing another French star in the form of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
The $31.6m (Mirror) striker was the top scorer in the French league last season with 27 goals and has scored 17 goals in 30 Ligue 1 games this season as well.
The 24-year-old striker is entering his peak years and has got the quality to improve Man United’s strike-force. Here is how Man United will line up with Lacazette if he does end up signing for the Red Devils.
