$11m Star Spending Last Hours in Spain, Very Close to Liverpool Move

Brendan Rodgers LiverpoolLiverpool need quality signings this summer in order to earn back Champions League qualification next season.
Reds have already secured two players in the form of James Milner and Danny Ings to reinforce their attack but they still need a world class striker. Can they sign one? We shall see.
On the other hand, the merseysiders must improve their midfield department and find a quality replacement for legendary star Steven Gerrard who left the club to join LA Galaxy.
As far as the defense is concerned, Rodgers has got many options in central defense with Toure, Skrtel, Lovren and Sakho fighting for starting positions. Emre Can has played well in defense but the German should be used in midfield next season.
Alberto Moreno is the preferred left full back, although the Spaniard needs to work on his defending. Jose Enrique is still the backup LB for now.
Liverpool have released former Chelsea right back Glen Johnson.Javier Manquillo will be there to complete his second season on loan but Reds must now sign a decent right back for long term.
The Anfield club are heavily linked with 24 year old Barcelona right back Martin Montoya.
According to Spanish source Fichajes, Martin Montoya is spending his last hours in Spain as he is very close to sealing Liverpool move.
The Barca star could only feature in 8 league games last season and looks for first team football. Chances of that happening at Nou Camp have been diminished further as Daniel Alves has renewed his contract. Montoya is rated around $11m.

I like this guy and he will be a definite step up from Johnson. Not that that would have taken much. He has experience with a top team, ie. Barca, and I hope he can use this to benefit both himself and Liverpool. I seriously hope that Liverpool can get this transfer across the finish line. I am still concerned however of mention of Manquillo in the team. He started his loan spell ok and I honestly thought he would work out, but appearances after that through that thought out the window. I am not really sure where he is going to make the grade at Liverpool.
