Liverpool: Major Boost as Duo Fit to Face Aston Villa

Brendan Rodgers LiverpoolLiverpool will face Anfield Bogey team Aston Villa and will look to continue their winning run in the premier league.
Reds have been largely troubled by the the Villans at home under Brendan Rodgers.
In his first season in charge, BR’s men fell to a humiliating 3-1 defeat at Anfield thanks to a Christian Benteke inspired Villa side.
On the other hand, last season, Villa shocked Liverpool again taking a 2 goal lead. The Reds did bounce back to level and end the game 2-2.
Surely, Rodgers will be thinking of not repeating any of the previous mistakes against Villa who have started the season brightly with 7 points from 3 games.
Likely that Liverpool will be without start striker Daniel Sturridge but fortunately they have Henderson and Lallana available and fit for the weekend’s game.
Jordan Henderson picked up a minor injury with England but recovered in time to face Switzerland in their Euro 2016 qualifier.
Lallana suffered injury few weeks before the start of new season and has now fully recovered and trained well to be all set to make his competitive debut for Liverpool.
Even though Sturridge is injured, Rodgers has got brilliant depth at his disposal this season and Mario Balotelli is more than capable of taking his place.
Whether Italian striker will start up front as a lone forward or with a partner, we shall see. Liverpool remain favorites to earn all three points on Saturday.

  1. I find it annoying that these players are injured while being with the England set up, although as you’ve already reiterated that Liverpool have far more depth to their squad and have the necessary players who can come and try to win a place for themselves.
