Chelsea sit comfortably on top of the premier league going into the latest international break but have few injury concerns.
Ramires has been out for long and not really contributed much to the brilliant season the Blues have had thus far.
However, Schurrle and Fabregas have been pivotal and both are not fit at the moment and have been excluded from the national squad list.
The German international has had infection during the month of October and the problem still persists.
Hence, the former Bayer Leverkusen attacker has stayed in London to improve fitness.
German national team coach Joachim Low has agreed that the star trains individually to work on his fitness as statement reads:
“Schurrle suffered a persistent infection in October and could not train regularly.”
“It was agreed with coach Joachim Loew that he stays in London and trains individually to optimize his fitness.”
Jose Mourinho has been lucky as far as injury to key players is concerned this season with Arsenal, United and Liverpool still suffering.
Schurrle’s place has been brilliantly covered by Brazilian international Willian and Salah has been there as a cover as well.
The Portuguese manager will be more concerned about Cesc Fabregas’ health who is currently unstoppable and irreplaceable.
Fans hope that the key players will be fit before the PL action returns.
