Klopp Could Secure Key Signing for $61m & Liverpool Must Splash Cash Now

Liverpool were brilliant up front in the victory against Manchester City but once again, they were very weak at the back.
The Reds missed Virgil van Dijk, who was out injured, and once again a shaky Loris Karius could not perform well. The German shot stopper should have stopped the strike of compatriot Leroy Sane.
The arrival of Virgil has strengthened Liverpool’s back line but the goalkeeping dilemma must be solved by signing a top quality star.

Lately, the Reds have been linked with Brazilian international Alisson, who has been in fantastic form for the Giallorossi this season.
According to GdS, Liverpool and PSG are interested in signing the Samba star, who would cost minimum 50 million euros ($61million). The Italian source claim that he is expected to be in the Serie A until the end of the season.
However, Liverpool need to solve the goalkeeping conundrum immediately and they must splash the cash to sign the 25-year-old star this month. The Selecao star has so far kept 9 clean sheets in 19 league appearances this season.
Liverpool had the best record against top 6 teams last season and last night, they became the first team to beat Man City in the league this season. The Reds have the talent to win the title but they must sort out the goalkeeping situation by signing Alisson now.

I agree we need a world class GK asap but who ever you had behind the defence we have over the past few years would have struggled as an ex GK you are second guessing everybody in front of you so not only are you doing what a GK does but when you have no belieth in your defence you start going beyond doing what’s expected as the GK.Wiith VVD in at last to run the defence I would expect better performances from Karius now but I personally would like to see one more CB brought In to the squad and that’s Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly because at 6″4 or 6″5 he’s a Monster in the Air which would be fantastic for our keeper and Very Physical on the ground with excellent Pace !!! Best of all He’s just as comfortable playing anywhere across the Back 4 which would be great to have a player that can also cover those defensive positions while also being able to play in the DM role !!! I know his name hasn’t been mentioned at all but like I said for me would be the perfect addition to the team and would be a great partner for VVD.
