$43million Price Agreed – How Chelsea will Line up with Versatile Star

Liverpool secured the signing of Mohamed Salah from Roma not so long ago and now the Italian side are set to sell another top player in the form of Antonio Rudiger.
According to reports, the Blues have agreed (Guardian) the signing of the German international for a price worth 38 million euros ($43million) and the defender is expected to seal his move after returning from the Confederations Cup. Not to forget, Germany will collide against Chile in the final of the competition tonight.
Under the management of Conte, Chelsea had the second best defensive record in the Premier League last season and the arrival of the 24-year-old star will further reinforce the back line.
The former Stuttgart player is a versatile talent. He is naturally a center half but can effectively play in the full back positions as well. Last season, Roma used him in the right back position on various occasions. In 36 appearances for the Giallorossi, Antonio scored 1 goal and provided 4 assists.
Conte mainly used the 3-4-3 formation last season and the likes of Moses and Alonso started in the wing back positions. Rudiger is not really renowned for being productive in the attacking third so we expect him to start in the three man defense.
In the last campaign, the likes of Luiz and Azpilicueta were brilliant and if Rudiger joins, he should replace veteran Gary Cahill in the starting XI. Here is how Chelsea will line up with Antonio Rudiger.
