Rumor – Man Utd have Agreed Terms with €59million Star – Not Rodriguez

Manchester United were beaten by Pochettino’s men to bid farewell to White Hart Lane and now the Red Devils are 7 points behind fourth placed Man City.
Jose’s team cannot finish in the top four and now they can only qualify for the next season’s Champions League by beating Ajax in the final of the Europa League later this month.
The Portuguese boss needs to splash heavy cash in the summer transfer window to strengthen the team and once again, a familiar name in the form of Lindelof is in the focus.
Back in the January window, the Old Trafford club wanted to secure the signature of the Benfica star but the highly rated central defender opted to stay with the Primeira Liga side.
Last month, we covered a report (via Mirror) claimeing that United have opened fresh talks to seal the signing of the defender, who has a release clause of 50 million pounds (€59million) in his contract.
As per the latest rumors going on in the media (Daily Star via The Gambling Times), United have already reached a deal with the versatile center half by agreeing personal terms of the contract.
Victor has been brilliant for the Portuguese team this season and helped them win their fourth title on the trot. In 32 league appearances, he has scored once in the current campaign.
The 22-year-old star is a versatile talent, who can also play effectively as a fullback and even as a defensive midfielder if needed. In your opinion, do United need Lindelof to reinforce their defense?
