After Outstanding Participation, Defender to Arrive at Liverpool – Potential Move

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is renowned for handing first team opportunities to young talented starlets and helping them progress.
During his time with Borussia Dortmund, he turned a teenage Mario Gotze into a top quality attacking midfielder.
At Anfield, the German boss has already handed first team chances to players like Ojo, Alexander-Arnold, Ejaria and Woodburn etc.
According to latest reports, another talented youngster in the form of Honduras’ Wesley Decas may end up signing for Liverpool’s academy if he is able to impress.
The 17-year-old defender had an outstanding participation with the U-20 side in the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship and helped his nation qualify for U-20 World Cup, which will be held in South Korea this year (Diez).
As per the provided Diez link, after impressing with the national side, Wesley will now be traveling to Liverpool for trials with their U-19 and U-23 teams and may even end up signing for the club if he can impress the management.
In a recent interview, the teenage defender stated (Diez):

“I am very happy because I did not expect it. Thank God who has given me this opportunity to test in Europe”
