Deal Close – Chelsea to Agree $12.7million-a-year Star Deal

Chelsea have been absolutely brilliant under the management of new boss Antonio Conte.
The Blues are currently ten points above their closest rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City and are clear favorites to win the Premier League title yet again.
The entire team has performed at the optimum level this season and stars like Eden Hazard and Diego Costa have been very influential in the attack.
According to latest reports (Daily Star via TMW), Eden Hazard is closing in on agreeing a new deal with the Stamford Bridge club that will extend his stay until 2021.
Currently, the Belgian international is on a contract (Star) worth £200,000-a-week ($244,000-a-week, $12.7million-a-year), which will expire in 2020.
He won the PFA Player of the Year award for his performances in the title winning 2014-15 campaign under Mourinho. However, last season, he was average with Jose in charge.
Under Conte, he has found top form again and after brilliant performances in the current campaign, he surely deserves a pay rise.
This season, in 26 league appearances, the 26-year-old former Lille playmaker has scored eleven goals and also provided four assists.
