Liverpool Can Sign Leandro Paredes for $32million

Liverpool must sign a strong defensive midfielder before the winter transfer window closes next week.
Recently, the reports have heavily linked (via A Bola) Liverpool with Portuguese international and Sporting CP star William Carvalho. However, in this report, the player in discussion is Roma star Leandro Paredes.
The Merseysiders have been linked with the 22-year-old Argentine holding midfielder for quite some time. They were even interested in hiring his services last summer but the South American star eventually stayed with Roma.
If the latest reports are anything to go by then Klopp has the chance to finally sign the La Albiceleste midfielder for a fee of 30 million euros ($32million).
As per renowned Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (Tutto Mercato Web via Sky Italia), Paredes is a wanted man in the Premier League and Roma are prepared to sell him for a fee of €30million (€25m plus €5m in various add-ons and bonuses).
In the last campaign, Leandro played on loan for Empoli, made 33 appearances, scored 2 goals and also provided one assist. This season, he has featured in 22 games for the Giallorossi and scored only one goal.
Liverpool do need a specialist DM to help out the back line and Leandro Paredes could be the man solve Klopp’s defensive concerns.

Liverpool fc exit from the fa cup is a confirmation of things to come when one considers the fact that of all the top ten epl teams currently, Liverpool fc is the poorest team in terms of players. In my experience, great teams win matches from the bench, and this is unapplicable to Liverpool fc. Believe it or not, this Liverpool squad will not make the top four this this season if Klopp fails to bring in a very good defensive midfielder and brilliant finisher who can get the goals for the team. Even though it’s only epl matches that is the matter, it will be sensible for Klopp to do as I am saying here asap. Football is a different kettle of fish in England. If you fail to see the players to buy, prepare to fail to see success.

The issue is also that only a handful of the current Liverpool players can get a starting line up in any of the top six teams. This squad is very poor. Yet Klopp is reluctant to buy. Why put us through this?
