Tottenham have the best defense in the Premier League and United have had problems at the back this season. Therefore, the Sun probably thought that it would make perfect sense to report that the Red Devils want not one but two Spurs defenders.
The Sun ran an exclusive and claimed that Mourinho wants Man United to make a sensational move of 60 million pounds ($73million) to sign Kyle Walker and Danny Rose from the North Londoners.
Perhaps it was not intriguing enough to link just one Manchester club with the defensive duo. The Sky Blues have been shaky at the back under Guardiola so the report states that even Manchester City are interested in signing them.
Not to forget, Mauricio Pochettino’s men are performing better than both the Manchester clubs in the Premier League.
The news came out of nowhere and the supporters had mixed reactions on twitter. Some were in shock and others laughed it off.
Here are a few reactions.
I dont see us getting Kyle Walker or Danny Rose…. sounds like BS The Sun. #mufc

Should we be worried by the sun headline with regard Walker and Rose? Can’t see either of them going personally. Seems a strange report.

Why do the sun make up.These rose/walker stories. Spurs are going forward man united are not. Why would 2 players in their prime leave that
