Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move to sign Benfica star Victor Lindelof.
The Red Devils have already agreed a deal worth 45 million euros with the Primeira Liga champions and the move is expected to be completed soon (via Record).
The Old Trafford club have also been interested in signing Lindelof’s team-mate Nelson Semedo.
A week ago, we reported (via A Bola) that Man United and Benfica could reach an agreement for the 23-year-old right back next month with the commitment that he will complete the current campaign in Lisbon.
This season, the Portuguese international has featured in 24 games, scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists. He has a release clause of 45 million euros ($47million) in his contract (SW via O Jogo).
Now, the update provided by British source Mirror mentions a figure that United are ready to offer.
Mirror report that Manchester United are ready to move in with an offer of 35 million pounds ($43million) to sign the highly rated defender but any move will likely happen next summer because the Portuguese giants do not want to lose him in the January transfer window.
At the moment, Valencia is United’s first choice right back but Mourinho needs someone for the long term and Semedo perfectly fits the bill.
