Wenger Moved in to Get $99million Star Signing Done for Arsenal

Arsene Wenger UpsetArsenal have been looking to sign a world class striker since Robin van Persie left the club for Manchester United in 2011 but the Gunners have failed to do so.
Giroud has been effective but he is not a world class forward. On the other hand, the North Londoners splashed the cash to sign Lucas Perez in the summer transfer window and the 28-year-old Spanish international is currently injured at the moment.
The Gunner supporters have always complained about Wenger not spending enough to sign a top quality striker.
Howveer, if the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then the French manager actually moved in with a huge offer to sign Aubameyang in the summer but Dortmund just did not want to listen to any offers.
According to reports (IamNaples via Radio CRC), Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito claims that Wenger made an offer of 90 million euros ($99million) to sign the Congo striker in the summer but the German club refused to hear anything.
The 27-year-old striker is one of the best goalscorers in world football. Last season, he was in fantastic form for the Bundesliga side. In 49 appearances, Aubameyang netted 39 goals and also provided 12 assists.
This season, the former Lille center forward has directly contributed in no fewer than 17 goals (14 goals and 3 assists) in 14 games for Dortmund.
In your opinion, should Arsenal sign a new striker in the winter transfer window?
