Manchester United's Next Number 15

Since the departure of the legendary Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic, the Reds Devils have lacked a world class central defender in their squad.
Manchester United lack a leader in the heart of their defense and the former number 15 Vidic used to be exactly that for the Old Trafford club. The defender wore the number 15 for eight long years before leaving the club last summer to join Serie A side Inter Milan.
Reports suggest that the void in central defense is finally going to be filled with the signing of top class Argentine defender Nicolas Otamendi.
The 27-year-old is one of the best defenders in the the Spanish league and has a release clause of 35 million pounds in his contract.
Otamendi wears the number 23 shirt for the La Liga side but that number is occupied by Luke Shaw at Old Trafford. It will not be a surprise to see the South American star getting the iconic number 15 shirt if he does join the Red Devils.
