Deal Close – Arsenal to Complete Quality €20m Signing

Gundogan GermanyDortmund lose their star players almost every transfer window and considering their current turmoil, Klopp should block transfers for key players.
However, as per latest reports, it seems that the German club will still sell key player in this winter transfer window.
According to Metro, Arsenal are close to signing versatile midfielder Ilkay Gundogan from Dortmund after submitting a €20m bid.
As per the provided link, the Bundesliga side are seriously considering to accept the offer of the premier league side.
Not so long ago, Gundogan was one of the most important players in Dortmund and was pivotal when they reached the CL final in 2013.
However, his entire last season was ruined because of spinal injury and the Kaiser also missed the World Cup.
Nevertheless, the 24 year old midfielder is by all means a quality prospect and if Arsenal can secure his signing for that price, it might prove to be a bargain.
Gundogan also missed first seven league games of the season but as returned to full fitness
The former Nuremberg star has featured in 12 games for Dortmund this season, scored a goal and provided two assists.
Although, Arsenal do have midfielders like Ramsey and Wilshere in their squad and Gunners do need a proper CDM more still someone like Gundogan can help the side win midfield battles and eventually dominate games to win.
With the presence of Germans like Ozil, Mertesacker and Gnabry already there, Gundogan should settle in well.
Arsenal must act fast to secure his signing as soon as possible before other suitors turn up. Not to forget, even Manchester United have been linked with Ilkay as well.

    Another injury prone player to occupy our treatment room staff,why do we always seem to be interested in signing players who spend more time on the table than on the pitch.?

    We already have Diaby on the Table, for how long God knows. The man has no shame. Who generate the revenues that Diaby gets? Because Mr. Wenger is said to be an economist, one wonders how a player can be getting paid for adding to the numbers to the club. Yet still we want similar players to join.

    Not unless it’s officially announced but to me it will remain as a romour and a trick to eazy the fan’s pressure world wide. A couple of days we were informed that William Carvahlo is about to join Arsenal now that story is over and it has now emerged to be Gundogan. Next week I think it will be Lars Bender and so on till the transfer window is closed. It seems Wenger is everything at Arsenal that’s why the club keeps on flopping every game, he’s too mean even to spend money that he’s given for free. We fans are the ones who feel the pains. {Forever an Arsenal fan}
