Markovic Starts – Liverpool's Strongest XI vs Hammers

Lazar Markovic LiverpoolLiverpool bounced back from their frustrating defeat against Villa to beat Ludogorets on their Champions League return.
Brendan Rodgers’ men will surely look to get back to winning ways in the premier league as well when they face West Ham on Saturday.
The Reds have been far from their best in the last two fixtures. Defensive problems have prevailed while the attack was too disjointed because of many new stars trying to gel in all of a sudden.
Expect Adam Lallana to be on the bench against the Hammers. The England international only recently returned from injury and played 2 games in 4 days, and highly unlikely he will be starting 3rd in 7 days.
Serbian Lazar Markovic is set to return to starting XI as he did not feature in the CL being suspended for the game. The former Benfica star should be given the nod to play in his preferred left side staying close to Sterling and Mario in a diamond shaped formation.
Having tried 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 without diamond in the center and Balotelli alone upfront has backfired and hence Rodgers should revert back to the system that has been more fruitful. Two strikers or one, the diamond in the middle seems a must.
Defense will be boosted by the return of Martin Skrtel whereas Joe Allen is also available for the game as far as midfield is concerned.
Here is Liverpool’s strongest XI vs Hammers.
