Arsenal bounced back to winning ways in the Barclays premier league as they defeated West Ham last night at the Emirates.
The game was by no means easy for them as the home side were pressurized in the opening stages by the Hammers. Eventually the pressure paid off for Sam Allardyce’s men who opened the scoring thanks to Jarvis.
Arsenal supporters were in shock, but keeping in mind recent displays, a defeat was major possibility. Fortunately for them, the team picked themselves up and immediately fired back as Podolski leveled the score before the break.
In the second half, Arsenal were more confident and bombarded Hammers’ defense. Could have easily scored 3-4 goals but two more were enough to earn all three points.
