Sterling Shines – Liverpool Player Ratings vs West Brom

Brendan Rodgers LiverpoolLiverpool had a golden chance to reinforce their position in the top 4 as United and Tottenham dropped points yesterday but the merseysiders bottled it.
Reds were dominating in the first half and deservedly led 1-0 thanks to the combination of none other than dynamic duo Suarez and Sturridge.
However, in the second half, the visitors did not focus much on the attacking intent rather defended deep so as to counter West Brom the way they did with Everton.
The plan did not work this time around and the home side continued pressurizing Liverpool’s defense and were eventually rewarded.
Kolo Toure gifted the ball to former Evertonian Anichebe who made no mistake and slotted the ball in the bottom corner giving the Toffees a massive favor as they are now just 2 points behind Liverpool and the Anfield side have to face high flying Arsenal next.
Only positive, Liverpool are still fourth and Sterling keeps on improving. Raheem was the main player that troubled the home side more than anyone. His pace was just too much to handle for the opposition.
Here are Liverpool player ratings vs West Brom.
