Manchester United supporters have perhaps finally given up hope of qualifying for the Champions League next season as far as that is from the league is concerned.
Red Devils are no less than 11 points behind 4th placed Liverpool with only 12 games remaining.
In current form of both teams, United need a miracle that too with European distractions ahead and it virtually seems impossible.
Nevertheless, what is evident that Manchester United need heavy reinforcements next summer for every department.
For now, the Red Devils have been handed a major set-back as one of their midfield targets is set to sign a new deal with his current club.
The player in discussion is €42m rated Juventus star Arturo Vidal who has been heavily linked with Man United.
According to reports, the versatile Chilean international is all set to sign a mammoth deal worth 200,000 pounds a week with the Italian champions.
As per the provided link, Vidal may as well be earning an annual salary of £12million.
Such setbacks are inevitable and will be more if United are not playing in the best club competition in the world, Champions League next season.
United’s midfield have been disastrous this season and one of the main reasons behind their demise under Moyes.
The former Everton manager will have to look at other alternatives now to reinforce his midfielder department next summer.

Moyes needs to be shown the door as he has proved without doubt that he’s simply not good enough to be Manchester United’s manager, those who believe otherwise need to ask themselves the question would United be 7th in the league this season and have struggled to attract the world’s top players under a manager like Mourinho, Klopp or Ferguson himself and the answer is of course not! Its all very well backing a manager to get it right which i’ve done for most of the season but its time to accept that Moyes isn’t good enough to be the manager who can continue to keep United successful in the future, his biggest mistake apart from thinking he could be that man was to axe SAF’s backroom coaching staff who knew what the players needed to get the best from them and challenge for trophies and Champions League football!
Basically United should cut their losses on Moyes and bring in someone like Klopp who would attract the best players and bring success too, he’d get the best out of Kagawa and bring in players like Hummels, Gundogan, Reus which would rejuvenate our entire squad and bring belief back to the fans while playing swift attacking football… its simply a no brainer really!
