Liverpool Favorites to Make Fantastic Record

Brendan Rodgers LiverpoolBrendan Rodgers’s Liverpool side have transformed into one of the most fearsome teams in England in just over an year.
The Reds are flying high in the premier league, not only favorites to finish in top 4 but are only 6 points behind league leaders Chelsea.
Surely, they cannot be counted out of the title race especially in such blistering form.
Arguably the main reason why Liverpool are doing so well in the league is their prolific attack.
The likes of Suarez, Sturridge, Coutinho and Sterling have gelled in brilliantly and are scoring for fun.
Adding to that, the drive of Henderson and lately the influential role of Steven Gerrard as quarter back has added even more stability.
Liverpool have scored 63 league goals this season i.e 3rd in Europe’s top 5 leagues behind only Manchester City and Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Their goal scoring record in the premier league was set by Rafael Benitez’s side of 2008-2009 season where they finished second.
Gerrard and Torres were on fire that season as Reds scored no less than 77 goals in the league.
However, now Liverpool have the best chance to break that record as they only need 15 goals from the last 13 league games.
Surely, they are favorites to outscore 2008-2009 tally if they carry on with the same momentum, especially at Anfield where they have been thrashing teams all season long.
