Suarez is Back and Liverpool Need him More than Ever

Suarez is Back and Liverpool Need him More than EverSouthampton were the last team to beat Liverpool last season and now become the first team to beat the Reds this season in a shocking performance by the home side at Anfield.
Liverpool have relied heavily on their defense and Daniel Sturridge for the points earned this season. Since the injury to Glen Johnson, Agger and Toure their defense has gone from the best to quite average.
Rodgers got his tactics wrong and it will be fair to say that he was confused about the selection of his defensive department. Moreover, with Coutinho out injured, their already lackluster attacking threat was further diminished.
It only needed one set piece for the Saints to take the lead and they could have easily gone 2-3 goals ahead but impressive Simon Mignolet made wonderful saves to keep reds in the game.
In the end, Reds were unable to create a clear cut chance in the game, Sturridge should have been awarded penalty though.
Liverpool are likely to lose their top spot but all is not lost. The best news for the merseysiders is that star player Luis Suarez is back and surely Liverpool need him more than ever.
This is Liverpool’s first defeat since the Uruguayan was banned and now is the time for him to amplify Liverpool’s attack.
In the last 4 premier league fixtures last season, Reds scored 10 goals and this year they have only scored 5 in 5 (4 from Sturridge).
Suarez scored 30 goals for the club last season and Reds badly need his trickery, creativity and goal scoring talent upfront.
Next up, Liverpool face United in the Capital One Cup and then Sunderland in the premier league.
