91% Pass Completion – Manchester United Star Ran the Show

Wayne Rooney EnglandEngland registered the first win of their Euro 2016 campaign by beating Wales 2-1 and they had to do it the hard way.
The Three Lions bounced back from a goal down at half time to earn all three points and are now top of their group.
Wales took the lead thanks to a 40 yard free kick by none other than superstar playmaker Gareth Bale. Manchester City goalie Joe Hart has to be blamed for his poor effort to keep the ball out.
At half time, Hodgson substituted the ineffective pair of Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling and brought the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Jamie Vardy on. The duo turned the game around by scoring a goal each and sealed the victory for England.
Roy deserves praise for making the necessary changes at half time. Moreover, Manchester United skipper deserves the credit for helping England dominate the play against the Welsh side.
As per stats (Squawka), Rooney completed 91% of his passes, created 5 chances and ran the show for England.
