Arsenal want to Reach Agreement to Sign $52.9million Star before World Cup

The Gunners also have stars like Elneny and Coquelin, who can effectively play in the holding midfield position. Still, if reports in the media are anything to go by then Wenger wants to sign another DM in the form of Sporting’s William Carvalho.
The 25-year-old Portuguese international was a key member of the national side that lifted the Euro 2016 trophy.

According to A Bola, Arsenal want to sign William, who has a release clause of $52.9million, in the summer transfer window.
Carvalho is currently the captain of Sporting CP, who are leading the Primeira Liga table at the moment, three points above Porto, who have a game in hand.
The Portuguese source have mentioned that Sporting want to sell the player at the end of the season and for the right price. Moreover, Arsenal want to reach an agreement with Sporting to sign the player before the World Cup because after the competition, his value could rise.
A Bola have further mentioned that Wenger knows he will have to splash a decent sum (around 40 million euros) to hire the services of Carvalho. In your opinion, do Arsenal really need another play breaker?
