Mourinho Eager to Sign Jose Gimenez for Man Utd

Manchester United splashed the cash to hire the services of Swedish central defender Victor Lindelof in the summer transfer window.
The former Benfica star has not been able to impress for the Red Devils so far. Under the management of Mourinho, Lindelof has mainly warmed the bench in the Premier League and his last game against Huddersfield was an absolute disaster.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Portuguese manager is looking to further strengthen his back line and once again, Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez is linked with the Old Trafford club.

According to Express, Jose Mourinho is eager to hire the services of the 22-year-old Uruguayan international, who has got a release clause of 60 million pounds (€67.4million) in his contract.
The South American defender is a versatile talent, who can be deployed as a center back, a full-back and also as a defensive midfielder if needed. This season, Jose has featured in 5 league games for the La Liga club and scored 1 goal
As per the provided Express link, Atletico could do business without the activation of Gimenez’s release clause. In your opinion, should Mourinho sign him?
