Manchester United needed to sign a wide player in the summer transfer window but failed. Now, they are looking to lure one in the winter transfer window.
If the latest reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils are interested in signing Spanish international and Espanyol left back Aaron Caricol Martin.
According to ESPN sources, the Old Trafford club have made contact to inquire about the possibility of signing the 20-year-old defender.
Moreover, it is mentioned that the La Liga side are resigned to losing him in the January transfer window.

The young Spanish full-back is a regular starter for his club. He featured in 30 league games for Espanyol last season and this season, so far he has started every league game.

Martin’s current contract with Espanyol will expire in 2022 and ESPN have reported that he will only be allowed to leave if a club comes up and pays his full 40 million euros ($47million) release clause. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in January.
