Klopp Clear Favorite to Agree $45million Star Signing for Liverpool – He Wants Anfield Move

Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League and they may end up losing some key players as well in the summer transfer window.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Don Balon), that Alexis Sanchez is expected to leave the Emirates this summer. Now, once again, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s name is in the lime light and if reports are anything to go by then Klopp is clear faovrite to hire his services.
According to the Sun, the 23-year-old playmaker is ready to leave Arsenal after six years and Liverpool are leading the race to secure his signature in the upcoming transfer window. Jurgen is an admirer of the England international and Liverpool have been interested in signing him for quite some time.
The reason why Liverpool are clear favorites is because even the player wants to move to the club. Earlier this month, we reported (via Telegraph) that Alex wants to move to Anfield and work under the management of the German boss.
The Sun claim that Oxlade-Chamberlain is rated around 20 million pounds. However, last month, Telegraph exclusively revealed that Arsenal want a mammoth fee of 35 million pounds ($45million) for him even when he has just one year left on his current deal.
In the current campaign, Alex has so far featured in 44 games for the Gunners, scored 6 goals and provided 11 assists. It must be noted that he has only started 26 times and therefore, it is not surprising that he wants a move away from the club.
Ox can play anywhere in the midfield and in the attack. Moreover, he has effectively played as a wing-back too when needed. Liverpool do lack depth and such a versatile star will surely improve the team.
