Jose Wants Man Utd to Get €84.7million PL Star Signing Done – Not Lukaku

Tottenham Hotspur were fantastic last season and they have performed even better this season under the management of Mauricio Pochettino.
However, once again, their efforts seem not enough to win the Premier League title as Chelsea need just three points from their last three games to win the ultimate prize.
The North Londoners should reinforce their squad with top quality players this summer and must also make sure that they hold on to the key players who are part of the current team.
England international Eric Dier has proved to be one of the most important and improved members of Pochettino’s squad and he is wanted by Manchester United (Mirror).
The 23-year-old star is a versatile talent, who can effectively play as a central defensive midfielder and also as a center half. Last season, he was impressive for Spurs in the DM role and in the current campaign, he has mainly played in the central defense.
So far, Spurs have conceded the fewest number of goals (23) in the Premier League this season and Dier has been solid at the back. In 45 games (all competitions) the Three Lions star has scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists.
The former Sporting CP player has got a brilliant right foot and is capable of striking long range shots. Last year, he was arguably England’s best player at the European Championships.
According to CIES Football Observatory, Eric’s transfer value is €84.7million but as per the provided Mirror link, Jose Mourinho believes that United can get his signing done for a fee worth 40 million pounds (€47million). Dier signed a new deal with Spurs last summer until 2021 and as per the British source, he has been warned that he will not get another pay rise even if other clubs are interested in him.
Dier is not the only PL star wanted by Mourinho. Earlier in the day, we covered a report (via Daily Star) that the former Chelsea boss is ready to battle the Blues to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton.

More bullshit from the mirror so called newspaper. The last time Spurs sold a top rated player to a competitor in the same league was 10 years ago, Carrick & Berbatov to Manchester United. I can assure you that it won’t happen again. 5 years ago Luka Modric was wanted by Chelsea and Daniel Levy told them to stick it where the sun don’t shine and sold him to Real Madrid instead. Levy has already said that the club will no longer sell its best players and will only let players go who are surplus to requirements by the manager. He does not want to jeopardise what Pochettino is building at Spurs. The low class press like the mirror, Sun, star and Mail will persist of course, trying to treat Spurs as if they are the equivalent of Leyton Orient or Dagenham & Redbridge to the currently or perceived richer clubs like Manchester United or the recently wealthy such as City or Chelsea. The blogs follow like sheep.

Agree 100%. This is just cheap bullshite talk and wishful thinking by hopeful MU fans and MU news reporters. Firstly even if Spurs wanted to sell him what makes the writer think that they would sell him for a little more than half his transfer value fee. Dream on you bonehead writers from the Mirror newspaper.
