From France – Liverpool Ready to Agree $23million Star Signing

Liverpool have leaked goals on regular basis this season and their poor defense will be responsible if the Reds fail to qualify for the next season’s Champions League.
The Merseysiders need to win their remaining four games to have a strong chance of finishing in the top four.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has to splash the cash and reinforce his back line if the club are to have any chance of making any kind of progress in the next campaign. If reports in France are anything to go by then Liverpool are interested in signing Ivorian international and PSG star Serge Aurier in the summer transfer window.
Last week, we covered a report (via Daily Mail) claiming that Manchester United are closing in on signing the former Toulouse star.
Now, according to Le Parisean, the 24-year-old defender is not ready to sign a new deal with the reigning Ligue 1 champions and the likes of Man City and Liverpool want to secure his signature.
Earlier in the season, Serge assaulted a policeman in Paris and was not allowed to enter UK to face Arsenal in the Champions League.
Aurier has featured in 20 league games for the French giants this season and provided four assists. He is a pacy star who normally plays in the right back position but has also proved to be effective on the left hand side of the defense.
The African star does have the quality to improve the back line but in all fairness, the Reds must sign a proven quality natural left back to solve their dilemma. According to Mirror, he is rated around 18 million pounds ($23million)

As we are the only team in the top ten playing without a recognised striker, for some bizarre reason thinking it b etter playing with attacking midfielders coming through to score instead of having a 25 goals a season striker, perhaps we could look at that as another reason we will probably miss out on CL football next season! Oh, and not having a recognised defensive midfielder, as well!
