Come and Get me Plea? "Extraordinary" $20million Star Wanted by the Reds Claims It would be "Special" to Play for Liverpool

Liverpool clearly made a mistake by selling the likes of Balotelli and Benteke. The duo are performing well after moving on and the strikers at Anfield have mostly been useless.
Danny Ings has been out injured for long term, Sturridge has continued to be injury prone and failed to shine when given the chance and Origi has mostly warmed the bench as well because Klopp prefers Firmino in the CF role.
The Reds need to sign a new striker this summer and recent reports have indicated that they are interested in luring German international and RB Leipzig star Timo Werner (Daily Mail).
The 21-year-old striker has scored more goals than any other German star this season. He has netted 14 goals and provided 6 assists in 25 games (all competitions) for the Bundesliga side.
Last month, Leipzig boss Ralph (T-Online) heavily praised him and stated that “Timo has qualities that are extraordinary”.
The $20million rated (CIES) forward has said that he is happy at Leipzig but he is aware that Liverpool want him and has probably issued a come and get me plea to the Merseysiders by claiming that it would be “special” to play for Liverpool in the future.
Werner stated (ESPN via Sport Bild):

“If you were to play at Anfield and hear the fans sing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone,’ it would certainly be something special.”
“England has a different feel, but I am also still young player.”
“I feel at home here at RB right now, Leipzig can continue to grow, and if I could be part it I’d be delighted.”

Werner made his debut for the senior national side against England last night. The youngster failed to score and was substituted in the 77th minute for Thomas Muller.
Lukas Podolski scored the only goal of the game in his 130th and final cap for Germany to win the contest vs the Three Lions.
