Mourinho Looks to Agree £50million Star Signing for Man Utd

Manchester United were heavily linked with a move to sign Swedish international and SL Benfica star Victor Lindelof last month but in the end, the central defender stayed with the reigning Primeira Liga champions.
The Red Devils have players like Smalling, Rojo, Jones, Bailly and Blind who can effectively play in the central defense.
If reports are anything to go by then the Old Trafford club are looking to off load Blind and Mourinho is eyeing a summer move to lure Lindelof as a replacement (The Sun).
The Dutch international has been a key member of the United squad this season. In 17 league appearances, the former Ajax defender has scored one goal and also provided two assists. However, as per the provided Sun link, he has not been able to impress Mourinho.

Earlier this month, Daily Express exclusively revealed that Mou had the chance to sign Lindelof for £34.5million in the winter window. Benfica have paid to remove the minimum release clause and now he would cost around £50million.
In 21 league appearances, Victor has helped Benfica keep 13 clean sheets this season and currently, the Portuguese club are leading Porto by 3 points.
