A list judging which world footballers are the most valuable has been published by CIES Football Observatory and according to the list, Sadio Mane, ranked 39th overall, is the most valuable Liverpool star worth €60.8million (£53.5m).
Liverpool splashed heavy cash in the summer transfer window to lure Mane from Southampton and the Senegalese international has been in top form for the Merseysiders.
The 24-year-old playmaker has featured in 19 league games for the Reds this season and currently he is the club’s leading goalscorer with 9 goals. He has also provided 5 assists in the PL as well.
The African star is on international duty and scored in Senegal’s first game of the AFCON against Tunisia yesterday.
Roberto Firmino is the second highest valued Liverpool star €55.3million (overall 45th) and Philippe Coutinho is third €55million (overall 48th). The likes of Emre Can and summer signing Georginio Wijnaldum are the other Liverpool stars that make the top 100.
