Stars Return – Manchester United's Strongest Possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Palace

After frustrating draws against Arsenal, West Ham and Everton, Manchester United returned to winning ways in the league by beating Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The Red Devils will face Crystal Palace next away from home and Mourinho will be hoping to earn all three points again.
As far as the team news is concerned, Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan suffered an injury after scoring the only goal of the game vs Spurs and the summer signing will miss the game against Palace.
In his absence, expect captain Wayne Rooney to return to the starting XI and Spanish international Juan Mata may get the nod to start in the attack as well.
Young Marcus Rashford should replace Anthony Martial to partner Rooney and Mata behind Ibrahimovic.
Record signing should move back into the midfield and partner former Athletic Bilbao star Ander Herrera. Vice captain Michael Carrick must be rested. Eric Bailly should return to start with Jones in the central defense.
Here is Manchester United’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Palace.

Don’t ever try to replace Anthony martial… It is a great mistake in as much as he is not suffering from an injury… I believe he can regain his full form by playing regularly.

  2. Okoyomon Austin says:

Rubbish..Carrick must play..He brings so much security and calmness to our midfield..jose shouldn’t even try benching him..

  3. hakmed says:

I think mata should play in the position of rooney while martial and lingard should also play the side wing

  4. victor says:

Rojo shouldn’t be playing full back, he should be on the center, he plays better there…..I prefer Martial to rashford

  5. Marlon says:

Carrick must play! And Martial must play, Mourinho must tell him what he wants and tell him to do as well but not bench him. Give him another chance.

  6. Marlon says:

I personally think Fosu-Mensah is the perfect replacement for Valencia, he played against Tottenham under Van Gaal and he was superb, he should play.

  7. Tony says:

Martial, Carrick , Blind, and Fosu-Mensa should all start
Rashford and Lingard should start from the bench
Darmian should watch the team play and be sold in the next transfer .

  8. Kenneth Kaunda says:

Zlatan should be benched! Rooney, Mata, Matial, Rashord should spear the attacks tonight

  9. Frank Fredrck Kamtande says:

I think Carrick shows and proved himself how important he is on the first eleven and midfield in general, with the llikes of Ander Herrera to partner him in the middle and let pogba be free and mata helping upfront it will create more goals than this narrrow winning we’ve got,he is the Paul Scholes of our team now,Mou should know it….
