Pogba Starts – Mourinho's Potential 4-2-3-1 XI for Man United vs Bournemouth

Paul Pogba JuventusManchester United defeated reigning Premier League champions last weekend in the Community Shield contest and will kick start their new PL campaign against Bournemouth on 14th August.
The Red Devils are favorites to earn all three points away from home against the Cherries.
As far as the team news is concerned, it is highly likely that manager Jose Mourinho will start all his summer signings in the opening fixture of the Premier League.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic should lead the line as the lone striker up front. Versatile playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan should line up with Anthony Martial and captain Wayne Rooney in the attack behind the Swedish forward. Jesse Lingard has a slight injury (PhysioRoom) concern and Jose should start him on the bench if he is available.
The latest signing Paul Pogba should start in the midfield with defensive midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. Eric Bailly will probably partner Daley Blind in the central defense.

  1. Excellent Larry A says:

The line up looks fine if they can play to their full potentias, is good to start the season with commanding victory so as to put fear in other teams. Pogba should start if he is fit, he is a good player any day any time.
For Scweinsteiger, Mourinho should allow him to stay and see out his contract. Apart fom Paul Pogba he is the next good midfielder we have. He was doing well last season until he had an injury which limited his chances of playing regularly.

  2. MARK GIOVANI says:

I love the way Jose is doing but one thing I don’t like is him selling Bastian, he use to be a great player and he is a great player so he ( Jose mourinho ) should give him chance rather than selling him.

Rooney has to go! Partnering him with Zlatan just isn’t going to work!
Out of form, injury prone, inconsistent, awful first touch, gives the ball away too often, easily dominated when playing as a striker, suspect temperament, lacks the sharpness and acceleration to play off the shoulder (Rashford/Martial), not good enough to play at no 10 (Mata/Miki)
