From Spain – Man United Agree Terms to Seal 4th Vital Signing

Jose Mourinho ChelseaSince the retirement of Paul Scholes, Manchester United have failed to replace the legendary midfielder. The Red Devils had a ready-made replacement in the form of Paul Pogba, however, Alex Ferguson let him leave and preferred Tom Cleverley instead.
United have been looking to re-sign the Les Bleus midfielder for quite some time and it will not come as any surprise if Pogba does end up returning to Old Trafford this summer.
According to renowned La Liga journalist Guillem Balague (AS), Manchester United are currently leading the race to sign the 23-year-old central midfielder and Real Madrid must step up big time if they are to secure Pogba’s signature.
As per the provided AS link, United have agreed terms (in principle) over a contract that will make Pogba earn 13.5 million Euros annually. Moreover, the British giants are ready to splash a huge fee of 120 million Euros as well to seal their fourth vital signing of the summer.
Mourinho has already secured the signings of Bailly, Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan to improve Man United’s defense and attack. The Juventus star is one of the best midfielders in the world and will largely amplify the quality of United’s midfield.
Last season, Pogba scored 10 goals and provided 16 assists in 49 games for the Italian champions.

I don’t think he’s worth £100million and I think we should find an alternative like Toni Kroos,Cesc Fabregas,Blasie Matuidi and we should try and get Hakan Calhanoglu and Aaron Ramsey

For me, I don’t care how much they cost if the club can afford it. If the club doesn’t spend the money, then the owners benefit. I’d rather the money spent on players. It’s not like they will give us free tickets for a season if they don’t. I think it’s best to buy the best of what you need with what you can afford. Mourhino has a 200 mil budget, spent 60 odd mil so far so has 140 mil. He thinks he need just 1 more midfielder to complete his buisness so makes sense to chuck a 100 mil at a club for their star player in that position. Personally I would look at throwing the 100 mil at Griezmann instead (Not sure Athletico could turn down that much money) They would probably accept 80 mil, then spend the remaining 40-60 on a quality holding player like Kante or Mutuidi. Job done!

I would trust furge’s judgement on this one pogba is overrated not worth the 120 mil now that Madrid can’t buy pogba and will not sell kroos to city with all the financial crap it has more sense to to drop pogba and go for griezmann as he is in much better form

Paul pogba’s return to Manchester United will certainly send a huge message to the other title contenders considering the kind of player he has become since he left 2012. But the amount the two clubs have said to agree is quite huge. It shows how money has lost it’s value in recent transfer markets. On the other hand I think the risk is worth taking considering his age. He still has many more years to play for the club he once left few years ago.
Antoine Griezmann, Kante and Matuidi is another wise option which will bring more competition to players occupying their respective wings.
In all the manager is shaping the team to bring back the lost glorious days. So whatever he decide is okay provided it will pay off. We need Manchester United back to where it belong and money shouldn’t be an inderance.

I think there is central in midfield we need to improve…yes even in defence…with ibra we will have a leader and one of the best player around…ok he is 34 years now but he have never been better…pogba feels very expensive but why not…We need to be at the very highest place in world football and we dont have that players right now…there is no scholes, giggs beckham, keane in our midfield now…i cant see any ferdinand or vidic either…we have the best goalkeeper in the world and lets build it from there…mou is the one wich can help us to reach it…but we have to spend some money…trust mou and we will at least play CL next year

  5. Ambition says:

For me money shouldn’t be the problem to sign any player because we have not been doing well for three season ago so we need quality players to bring us up again.

100m!….way too much for such an overrated player.

  7. Segun Aj. says:

That money on only Pogba is too much. What his it going to play. Dont waste money on nothin there so many player better. Used that money for 2or3 players to complate the squad. Up utd.

Alex fergusson wrecked united for not being honest in transfer market since 2009-2013 when the likes of ronaldo and tevez left same year , fergie had more than enough chance to sign these players respectively , David Silva,Yaya Toure, Wesley Sneider, Gary Cahil, Nicolas Gaitan, Ezekiel Garay,Rafael Varane, Luca Modric, Eden Hazard, Johan Cabaye, Kevin Strootman, Robert Lewandoski, Matt Hummel, Marco Veratti, Luca Moura, Axel Witselt, Douglas Costa and Arturo Vidal . If 5 out of these 18 players was signed by fergie then David Moyes would have been a better coach despite he was been chosen, secondly, players like Neymar, pogba, griezmann etc would have wanted man utd even before calling . In this case £100ml is never too much to buy success back to the Club.
