Nevertheless, according to reports in the British media (The Sun), Arsenal are to confirm their third summer signing after agreeing a deal worth 2 million pounds to sign Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding.
The Gunners need quality and depth in their back line and someone like Holding will provide exactly that. He featured in 30 games for Bolton last season.
Rob Holding may as well replace German star Per Mertesacker at the Emirates in future. In all fairness, the veteran defender must be sold this summer.

I am very sorry for arsenal fans. Wenger will never buy a good striker because he is very comfortable with fourth position. When morinho has already bought the likes of ibraimivic and other best players, he is only looking for the likes of Takum. Morinho now wants pogba but wenger wants rob holding.
Young players are very important for the future, but you cannot do that every season, what we need is for Wenger to buy a top striker, what he is doing is going to annoy the supporters and on every game he loses, there is going to be disaster and he should know that by now. He should not be thick headed about buying a top striker. Supporters do not want excuses and he will never ever give an excuse this time because supporters are sick and tired of his excuses. Wenger is a joke. He is the one keeping Arsenal falling behind the rest of the big teams. No wonder no one wants to sign for us. He have no ambitioun to win anything. He have been at Arsenal for 20 years. The most he spend is 42.5 million on Ozil. He Wil never spend 60 to 70 million for a striker. Another failed season before it even started. It is not bad for a supporter to request for a good striker in order for created goal scoring chances to be used well and to avoid embarrassing results against other big teams and sometimes even smaller teams.
Come to think of it i fell Arsenal have the most embarassing results season in season compared to other teams in england.
