Klopp Eager to Seal "Menace" $57million Star Signing for Liverpool

Klopp Origi InjuryLiverpool have been heavily linked with a move to sign Southampton star Sadio Mane this summer and the latest reports suggest that the Reds will have to splash a huge sum to lure him.
Earlier this month, the Sun reported that Liverpool are ready to sign the Senegalese attacker in a deal worth 30million pounds and are close to agreeing a fee.
Now, reports suggest that the Saints have slapped a mammoth price tag of 40 million pounds ($57million) on the 24-year-old versatile playmaker (Sun).
Despite the huge price tag, the report says that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to sign Mane who has proved to be an absolute “menace” (Mail) for the PL defenses. As per the provided Sun link, Sadio will demand £125,000-a-week to move to Anfield.
Last season, the pacy attacker featured in 43 games for the Saints and directly contributed in no fewer than 24 goals (15 goals and 9 assists).
Capable of playing anywhere in the attacking third, Mane will be a fantastic addition but is he really worth $57million?

He might be a useful and skillful player but there is no way on this earth that he is worth this amount. Haven’t Liverpool gifted enough money to Southampton’s coffers through overpricing without adding any more to it!

  2. peter says:

you’ll say no because he’s an African player, else it’s a yes
very pacey, skillful and energetic, exactly what Liverpool lacks
he’s better than Memphis and Firmino

  3. Monkam says:

Go for him. Mane will surely provide what we want.

  4. jackson says:

Mane is not worth that money. Generally is a good player.

  5. Allan says:

Excellent player, but over-priced. But LFC should go for him.

  6. RED PHIL says:

Very fast, two-footed, mobile, deadly in front of goal with good close control and capable of playing as a main striker or number ten. Surely that’s better than one-dimensional players like Carroll and Benteke who have cost us £70m, approximately, between them? Very expensive but if that’s the going rate . . .
If we baulk at spending big we’ll be left behind by City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and United . . . with the Europa League to look forward to if teams like West Ham falter. Is that what we want? No, thought not . . .

  7. Anemeh Ahmed says:

Go for him bcos he’s fast, strong,a bully,an eye for goal and he should be one of our front 3 players in a 4-3-3 formation…..frontline= coutinho/origi/mane. Midfield= Can,kovacic, zielinski. Defence=hector,matip,lovren,mercado…keeper=Karius…..with this team playing for 2 season,i tell u the league is ours
