After failing to win the Premier League title yet again, Arsenal are ready to heavily reinforce their squad in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have already secured the signing of Swiss international Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach and are now looking to lure Leicester City’s two most important stars Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.
The North Londoners are closing in to seal Vardy’s move to the Emirates and have moved in to sign the Algerian international as well.
According to reports (The Sun), Arsenal are in talks to sign PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez from the Foxes.
The Gunners were linked with a move to sign the 25-year-old attacker last summer (Telegraph) as well and will be hoping to finally get their main this time around.
The “immense quality” (Sportsmole) star scored 17 goals and provided 11 assists in 37 league games for Leicester City last season.
Arsenal supporters will be delighted to know that Mahrez is looking to leave (Goal) the Foxes this summer. Will he join Arsene Wenger’s squad? Only time will tell.
