Arsenal were defeated by Watford in the FA Cup but the Gunners bounced back big time in the league and ripped Sanchez Flores’ team part 4-0 at the Emirates today.
Goals from Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi, Hector Bellerin and Theo Walcott helped the North Londoners earn all three points and keep alive their hopes of winning the title.
Once again, young Nigerian international Iwobi was brilliant for the Gunners and was arguably Arsenal’s best player on the day.
The 19-year-old attacker is keeping senior players like Walcott and Campbell on the bench and rightly so. At the moment, Iwobi should start every game alongside world class duo of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Iwobi is a technically gifted player and once again showed his class today against Watford. Arsenal must continue the winning run if they are to stay in the title race.
