Liverpool Reach Agreement to Seal 'Quality' Star Signing Today

Liverpool’s defense has been a major concern over the years and the Reds must improve the department if they are to have any hope of challenging for the title next season.
The Merseysiders do have quality defenders at their disposal and one of them is rising star Jon Flanagan.
The young England international rose to fame under the management of Brendan Rodgers and was impressive in the 2013-2014 campaign. However, injuries hampered his progress and Jon missed the entire last season.

This season, the 23-year-old full back made his return and immediately put in fantastic performances as if he was never away. Flanno earned the praise of the boss Jurgen Klopp and fellow team mates. James Milner claimed that Jon is an incredible, quality and a hard working player (Liverpool Echo).
According to reports, Flanagan and Liverpool have reached a verbal agreement and the right back will sign a new three year contract with the Reds today (Liverpool Echo). It will be fair to say that Jon has earned the new deal, fully deserved.
