Man United have Moved in with $21.8m Offer to Sign Versatile Star

Louis Van GaalAfter splashing heavy sum in the summer transfer window, Manchester United were expected to challenge for the title this season.
However, the Red Devils find themselves in 5th place at the moment after terrible performances last month and now they must reinforce if they are to finish in the top four.
According to reports in the media (Daily Star via Cope), Manchester United have moved in with a $21.8m offer to sign Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez.

The 21-year-old Spanish international is a versatile talent who has been effectively utilized in various positions this season. Niguez is a natural midfielder who can play anywhere in the center of the park. Moreover, he has been productive in the attacking third while playing as a winger as well.
This season, Niguez has netted 5 goals and provided one assist in 21 games for Diego Simeone’s team (Transfermarkt).
United’s overall play has shown no signs of improvement this season and it remains to be seen whether or not Louis van Gaal can turn the season around.

The issue is not signing good players from their clubs and bring them to established the so called philosophy football.
Manchester united is a team feared by all team in the world when they play aggressive football.
Now they have Herera, Rooney, Sweinsteiger, Mata, Martial, etc and you are still talking about more signing. Just look at Memphis, is the type of player that flourish in PSV because they play fast football compare to present Man United team.
Change your pattern, talk to your players on the pitch. My research shows that if Manchester united play Counter football, they will be more dangerous in attack than Bayern Munich.

How right you are. Given the pedigree of LVG
who has been credited with developing and finding
talent over the years. There are no real signs of good
Football being played. Irrespective of who United buy
their style of play at present does not seem to worry any
Team. A good tactical coach would surely see that and
change it. Our striker crisis is self created. While RVP was
less lethal he would surely have been useful. Rooney is
more of a midfielder these days. Love Martial’s play but
he can’t do it on his own!

Well said Samson. My observation says against Chelsea we played a very fast game and we looked the better team with the most chances created. Barca and Arsenal play ticki tacka but they are like a deadly snake compared to United harmless Snail.

Watching Man Utd this season has been infuriating and depressing, culminating in a performance which brought me close to tears when playing Sheffield Uutd in the FA cup. Utd need a change of manager to change the style of play, yes we have generally been more stable in defense this season, but our attack has been sterile. Playing wingers at full back is not acceptable or effective, especially when we then don’t have proper wingers on the wings. Utd do need players, in and out. Out – Mata, he can’t play on the wing, has no pace and is not physically strong enough, i can see why Mourinho let him go. Fellaini – not good enough. Valencia – not doing the job as winger or full back. Carrick – good servant but finished at the top level. In – Stones, we need a proper CB instead of playing Blind, who isn’t a CB or LB, or Jones who is injury prone. Stones can also cover at RB instead of playing wingers Valencia/Young there. Varane/Laporte/Bruno Indi Martins, also great options, Laporte/Varane look like they will be world class, Martins can also operate at LB, instead of Young/Blind. A proper right winger – Mane/Griezmann, Mane has BPL experience, Griezmann doesn’t but looks world class. And a striker -Rooney’s days are numbered at the top level – Lewandowski/Muller/Bale would offer pace and penetration. And a faster stronger Centre midfielder, to work with Schneiderlin/Schweinsteiger. William Carvalho looks physical enough. 5 in 4 out. Blind and Rojo would be back up, but i wouldn’t be worried if we let either or both go when we get better suited replacements in. Right now i’d stop playing Mata Right wing, stop playing Fellaini altogether, Martial up top, Rooney in behind, Depay/Young/Lingard on the wings, if necessary Martial. Paddy McNair should get more game time, from what i hear he can also operate in a more advanced midfield position, why don’t we try that, as everything else hasn’t been working so far.
