Manchester United are Closing in to Sign $17.4m In form Star

Manchester United played another boring game to kick start their FA Cup campaign and were fortunate to somehow beat Sheffield United.
The Red Devils desperately need to reinforce the quality of their attack and bring in top players to change the situation upfront.
If reports are anything to go by then Manchester United are closing (Mirror) in to sign $17.4m rated Japanese star Yoshinori Motu. The 23-year-old Asian center forward plays for German Bundesliga side FC Mainz and has been in top form this season.

In 17 league games, Motu has directly contributed in 11 goals (Transfermarkt) for the club (7 goals and 4 assists).

Man United’s strike-force has been really poor this season. Captain Wayne Rooney has only scored 3 goals in 16  league games whereas big money signing Anthony Martial has scored 5 goals in 15 league games. It is evident that United need a goalscorer but is Yoshinori Motu good enough  to solve the dilemma?
