Liverpool Closer to Finally Signing Quality Playmaker

Liverpool FCLiverpool are looking to strengthen their attack before the transfer window closes tomorrow night and once again Denis Cheryshev is in the limelight.
The Reds have been average upfront despite spending heavy sums to reinforce the attack in the summer and Klopp wants more reinforcements.
According to reports (AS via COPE), Liverpool are closer to signing Cheryshev from Real Madrid.

As per the provided AS link, Liverpool were interested in signing the 25-year-old attacker last summer as well and the Russian international could finally end up signing for the Reds on the deadline day this winter.
Cheryshev spent last season on loan with Villareal and was in quality form for the Yellow Submarine. He directly contributed in 17 goals (7 goals and 10 assists) in 40 games for the La Liga side (Transfermarkt).
However, after returning to Real Madrid, Denis has normally found himself warming the bench under Benitez and even now under Zidane. Moving away from the Bernabeu the best possible option for the Russian and it will not come as a surprise if he is a Red before 11pm deadline tomorrow.
