Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp may have come up to state that the team is not going to be busy in the winter transfer window next month but reports in the media still suggest otherwise.
In all honesty, Klopp must not ignore the opportunity to reinforce his squad in January. The battle for the top 4 places is already tough and if the rivals improve, the German boss may regret his decision.
Serbian defender Neven Subotic is most likely to make Liverpool move (Liverpool Echo) in the January window according to Raphael Honigstein, of BT Sport and the Guardian.
Independent reported the same last month as well and claimed that the 27-year-old center back may cost Liverpool around $23 million.
Subotic and Hummels formed a rock solid central defensive partnership during Klopp’s time with Dortmund and the Liverpool boss knows all about the qualities of the Serbian CB.
This season, Neven has mostly been out due to a back problem but he is fit and running now. Subotic featured in the Bundesliga win against Wolfsburg last weekend and also played 90 minutes in the mid-week Europa League defeat vs PAOK.

definitely, even though he’s come and made some of the normal players look good, i still think he needs more quality, subotic will be a great help for the back 4 should he stay fit and stay in form
Klopp must get a defender, I don’t know much about Sabotic but if he played under him it sounds Good for me and all Kops. As he can Make a ordinary player to look great. To us Lucas looked not good even Alen was just a player Caus (brought him, Moreno was relegated to a bench. I think even Jose Enrique can come to his best as well, I just mention few, the likes of Mama, Kolo, and many more. At least a top four, he would have done us the best. Its like winning the PSL championship
