Brilliant and Horrible Transfer News for Man United at the Same Time

Manchester UnitedManchester United did not take part in any European competition last season and Louis van Gaal somehow earned them Champions League qualification after spending huge sums in his first transfer window with the Red Devils.
The Old Trafford hierarchy surely expected the team to qualify for the KO rounds of CL this season but disaster struck and United were eliminated from the competition last night.
As far as further signings are concerned, fortunately there is brilliant transfer news for the supporters. According to BBC Radio Manchester, United’s exit from Champions League will not influence their transfer budget or spending.

This update is horrible at the same time as well. Louis van Gaal has wasted huge sums on players since joining the club and the worst part is that United have not improved. In fact, the style of play has been an absolute pain to watch for the fans.
United do have quality players but the Dutch coach has no clue how to get the best out of them. Therefore, United should not really let Van Gaal waste more cash to secure transfers. Perhaps, they should save it for the next manager.

What difference it is going to make? There are certain players who believe they are safe and it looks like a home for the aged. The money spent on right players can do the needful ! but what happens to the so called experienced players. Continuous picking of injuries is only with Man utd. Look at the other clubs how much they stretch and play , but they dont pick up injuries as Man utd players pick. Players can play their natural game inspite of the strategy of the coach. But if they can prove that it will work , probably the manager might change to that strategy. No True leadership qualities with senior players too. When Ronaldo was with UTD it was Rio Ferdinand who was taking up leadership, earlier it was with Roy Keane who would be seen as a gladiator in the pitch, constantly encouraging players. Unless the players rethink and evaluate where they had done mistakes, how much you try to tell them , it may land up in vain.
