Not Reus – Man United in Pole Position to Sign €41m Superstar

Louis Van GaalAfter selling Angel Di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window, Manchester United failed to sign a top playmaker to replace the Argentine star.
In the final days of the transfer window, the Red Devils were linked (Express/Sky Italia) with a move to sign Brazilian star Felipe Anderson. However, the Old Trafford club could only lure a striker in the form of Anthony Martial from Monaco on the deadline day.
If reports are anything to go by then the Red Devils have not given up chase of the Samba star.
Talksport cite reports in Italian media claiming that Manchester United are in pole position to sign the Serie A playmaker who is rated around 41 million Euros.
Anderson was brilliant for the Italian club last season. He featured in 37 games for Lazio and directly contributed in 21 goals (11 goals and 10 assists) in the last campaign.
So far, the 22-year-old Brazilian has not scored or created any goal in 5 appearances this season (Transfermarkt).
United have to strengthen their attack and must splash the cash to sign Anderson in the next transfer window.
