Liverpool – Winger Deal Confirmed, $24.6m Move Close

Liverpool have been busy in this transfer window having secured many key signings. However, they have let go few stars as well.
Not satisfied with the right wing backs, Reds opted against renewing Glen Johnson’s contract and he left the club.
The merseysiders have lost another right wing back Javier Manquillo as Atletico Madrid have cancelled the two year loan deal for the La Roja player after just one season. The on loan star returns because he did not play enough minutes at Anfield last season.
The versatile Spanish star who is capable of playing as a right back as well as a winger showed signs of composure for Liverpool but lost his starting place once Rodgers shifted formation to 3-4-1-2.
As per Express, Atletico Madrid have confirmed that winger is returning from Liverpool and will play elsewhere next season. Liverpool signed Clyne for RB position this summer and another new signing Joe Gomez can play there as well.
Moreover, in other reports, Metro claim that Liverpool are closing in to sign $24.6m rated Real Madrid defender Asier Illarramendi as the Spanish giants are looking for his replacement.
The former Real Sociedad star will be a brilliant addition to the starting XI and Reds may finally have someone who can come close to replacing legendary Xabi Alonso at the club.
Not to forget, Liverpool also need a top quality goalscorer this summer to solve the dilemma of strike-force as well
