Cesc Fabregas has Betrayed Arsenal yet Again

Cesc Fabregas 4 ChelseaThere was a time Cesc Fabregas was considered as an Arsenal legend. He served the club for eight long years, earned captaincy and then was allowed to join boyhood club Barcelona.
Once a gunner, always a gunner they say but few years later, last summer, the Spanish international betrayed Arsenal and the supporters by joining rivals Chelsea.
If betrayal was not enough pain for the Gunner supporters, things went worse for Arsenal as Cesc proved to be a major hit at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues eventually went onto win the Premier League title last season and Fabregas was the leading assist provider in the team under the management of Jose Mourinho.
It still is not enough perhaps if reports are anything to go by Fabregas has betrayed Arsenal yet again.
Arsenal have been linked with Barcelona playmaker Pedro and according to Metro, Fabregas has played a key role in convincing the speedy winger to snub Arsenal and join Chelsea instead.
As per the provided link, Pedro has agreed to sign for the Blues and Chelsea now have to meet £21.6m asking price to seal the deal.

  7. Rich says:

    Ridiculous!!!
Cesc didn’t betray us at all!
He left to play for the team he supported all his life (imagine being an arsenal fan and playing for West Brom then Arsenal try to sign you…..?!?)
He then went to Chelsea after making it quite apparent that he’d rather have signed for us. But Arsene didn’t want him unfortunately.
AND THEN you quote the Metro saying he’s advised Pedro not to join us (Firtsly…. The Metro? Really? Are you going to beleive that? They link us with everyone and are wrong 98% of the time. Secondly why would you not want one of your friends who is an exceptional player to play in the same team as you?)

what betrayal? Sometimes I don’t understand what the aims of some writers are. Was is not this same fabregas that was credited with advising Bellerin to go to Arsenal? And why is it that people believe every player tag goes to Chelsea would be a bench warmer? Is Arsenal going to ship ou all the 2014/2015 players so that the newly signed ones would be immediate starters? I believe sports is about competition. If you perform well, you’ll displace anyone.

8/0 can easily b swapped for 1/1. so betraying a loser for a winner isn’t bad though.

  10. Austin says:

He didn’t betray afc, only went for what is best for his future.

  11. Ebenizer says:

Blue family always a legend,up to you Cecs

  12. Chelsea Alan says:

Cesc didn’t manage to convince Cech to stay with Chelsea then? What a stupid accusation.

  13. Paddy Chelsea says:

Who betrayed who? I expected Arsenal fans to blame Wenger for refusing to re-sign Cesc who was surely willing to come back. And I see nothing wrong in Fab advising his friend to join him in the club where he enjoyed a successful season and believes that with his friend playing alongside him, they can retain their EPL title
