I Marchenko wasn't playing well recently as he has lost three matches from the latest five played. He has lost the latest one against M Krueger that is only in the 293rd position in the ATP rankings.
Meanwhile I Karlovic looks to be in a very good form recently. He has played very solid in Halle and has reached the semifinals in that tournament only loosing to R Federer (World's number 2 and Wimbledon finalist) in a very close match (6-7 6-7). Karlovic has won three matches at Wimbledon also eliminating E Ymer, A Dolgopolov and J W Tsonga before loosing to A Murray.
Latest Karlovic's form makes me think he will record an easy win in staright sets in the upcoming match at Newport, USA.
